From September 16th to 20th, I, a 71 year-old, had the privilege of participating in a Bible Distribution Trip to China organized by the Bible Society of Singapore. Our mission was to distribute Bibles to various churches in the Yunnan mountainous area in China. Although our mission was tough, our work was a journey where we experienced God’s Grace daily. A brother-in-Christ asked me, “What were your thoughts on the trip?” My reply was, ‘I received much more than what I gave!” We went to Zhaotong City which was located in the heart of the northern Yunnan plateau, a gathering place for the Miao minority group. Gospel booklets: a ‘window, opening opportunities’

"These Gospel booklets are like a window, opening opportunities for us to share God’s Word,” comments Cao Hongwei, 48, who works in a busy clothes shop in central Nanjing. “We display them at the till and if a customer asks about them I tell them that God loves them and invite them to take one." Migrant workers in China face many life challenges and pressures. They often have to leave behind elderly parents and young children in the villages in search for work in the cities. Xiao Li, a Christian migrant worker said, “In order to make a living, I left my home town and found a job in another place. Who can understand this tough life that I have?
