Scripture Literacy Classes in Jiangsu Province

It was a joy to see believers in Jiangsu province attend Scripture Literacy classes to learn how to read the Bible. The classes, organised by Zhenjiang Christian Council, with the support of the United Bible Societies (UBS), provide believers with the opportunity to acquire the needed literacy skills to read the Bible. Besides strengthening their faith by learning to read God’s Word, the participants also encouraged one another in their faith through their time of fellowship during the classes.

Resourcing Lay Preachers in Hebei

A group of 90 lay preachers in Hebei came together in July 2023 for a two-week training to be equipped with tools that will deepen their faith and support their teaching and preaching ministry. During the training, they each received a set of biblical resources for which they were deeply grateful. These lay preachers returned to their respective churches armed with knowledge, inspiration, and a comprehensive set of resources. With renewed strength, they began to teach and preach with the insights they had gained, igniting a ripple effect of spiritual growth and empowerment within their congregations.
