Nanjing’s Union Theological Seminary (NJUTS) is China’s highest and only theological seminary at the national level. Representatives from the United Bible Societies (UBS) brought gifts for the students: the Greek New Testament and Hebrew Old Testament. We met four young Bible students. Their names are Sun Yu, Gao Xiangye, Xue Jing and Chai Dan (see photo: from left to right). "These Gospel booklets are like a window, opening opportunities for us to share God’s Word,” comments Cao Hongwei, 48, who works in a busy clothes shop in central Nanjing. “We display them at the till and if a customer asks about them I tell them that God loves them and invite them to take one." Migrant workers in China face many life challenges and pressures. They often have to leave behind elderly parents and young children in the villages in search for work in the cities. Xiao Li, a Christian migrant worker said, “In order to make a living, I left my home town and found a job in another place. Who can understand this tough life that I have?
